Care Inspectorate Report

"SNG is the most wonderful thing that has happened to our family, our relative is very well looked after."

September 2016 saw our annual and unannounced Care Inspectorate regulatory inspection. Each year the Care Inspectorate review our care at home services across four quality themes. Each theme is graded against a six-point scale of Unsatisfactory, Weak, Adequate, Good, Very Good and Excellent.

We are once again very proud to announce that the Scottish Nursing Guild were awarded a score of Excellent across all quality themes inspected. This is an outstanding achievement which sets us apart from the rest!

Part of the inspection requested feedback from our clients. Here are some of their comments:

"100% excellent service from SNG, never met an agency like them. When they started providing my care they turned my life around. My physical and mental health improved, staff are trustworthy and I feel safe with them. I am involved in all discussions about my care. I think they are a model of what a care service should be."

"SNG is the most wonderful thing that has happened to our family, our relative is very well looked after."

"An absolutely wonderful service, regular support and consistency of staffing. Impressed with the service and have regular feedback contact and consultation"

"A fantastic service, so impressed with all from the initial phone call, the ongoing contact and the staff provided."

"SNG have maintained consistency of carers for some years, all support my relative very well. The quality of staff are excellent, first class carers and overall service wonderful."

"Fantastic support for my relative, an open agency willing to listen to families. Same team of staff has been maintained for some time which has meant good consistency of care. Case Manager is so helpful."
