Once your
request for a Study Day, Manual Handling Update or Control & Restraint
course has been received, you will receive an acknowledgement letter
from us. This letter will let you know the status of your application.
You will either be given a DEFINITE PLACE, or if the course for
which you have applied is fully booked, we'll place you on our
RESERVE LIST, in the event that someone is unable to take up their
allocated place. If you are given a definite place, you must send
a cheque for £25 made payable to Thornbury Nursing Services
within 2 weeks to secure your place. If you qualify for free
study days, this will be fully refunded once the course has been
successfully completed.
If you have been given a DEFINITE PLACE, approximately
one month before your Study Day or Update, you will receive a confirmation
letter which will give you information on course content, course
times, and a map with directions of the venue. At the foot of this
letter there is a tear-off reply slip which you should complete
and return to the SNG office. This lets us know whether you are
able to take up your allocated place, and enables us to offer any
spare places to those on the RESERVE LIST. Deposits will not be
refunded if the course is not attended or you cancel your place
less than a week prior to the course taking place. |
