Neonatal nurses

The Scottish Nursing Guild is searching for experienced neonatal nurses across Scotland who have a minimum of 6 months recent experience for temporary assignments nationwide.

Established in 1995, the Guild delivers a renowned service to its clients. Our policy is to support our nurses above and beyond their normal expectations where career and professional development are paramount.

In recognition of your:

  • 12 months experience in the last 18 months working in intensive care or high dependency areas
  • 6 months recent experience working in special care baby units
  • Valid Paediatric Life Support training
  • Valid Newborn Life Support training
  • Valid Child Protection Level 3 training
  • Valid Basic Life Support and Moving and Handling training
  • High standard of clinical skills in neonatal care
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience working independently with critically ill and unstable children
  • Flexibility and reliability
  • Adaptability to different working environments
